DOUGH GETTERS IN-BAKERY PARTIAL SIGN-UP 

QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE 

In-bakery partial sign up allows team members to easily start signing-up new Dough Getters on  Bready while putting through their transaction. 

It is important to remember that in-bakery sign up is only the start of the process. Customers must then complete their sign up themselves later on in their own time to start enjoying the bread-efits! Don’t worry though – this part is really easy for customers – they’ll receive an SMS from us with a reminder and link to complete their sign-up if they start their sign-up with you in-bakery. 

The below outlines the in-bakery partial sign-up process.

Press the "DOUGH GETTERS SIGNUP" key on the Bready home  screen to start the sign-up  

process

The sign-up window will appear.



Click into the First Name field.  This will open the keypad to type  in the name. Click Save when  done 

TIP: The way you enter the name is  how it will appear to the member in  all communications we send them.  

Make sure you use the correct letter  case and type in the name with the  first letter capitalised. Click CAPS ON  to type in a capital letter, simply click  it again to turn off.

Click into the Mobile Number  field. This will open the keypad – enter number and click OK when  done 

TIP: Mobile number MUST be  

unique. If it already exists in the  Dough Getters database, you will not  be able to sign up the member.

IF the member wishes to use a  card, click the Press to Scan  button. This will open window  asking you to scan the card’s QR  code to add it to the member’s  record. 

TIP: It is OPTIONAL to use a Dough  Getters card. You should always  recommend the Dough Getters App  to members, and only hand out a  card if the customer requests it. 

This functionality will NOT be available until 

Card Scanning not yet Functional 

mid-February. In the  

interim you can still hand out a card to the customer IF they wish to  use one, and they simply need to enter the card number when they complete their sign up as per current process. 



Once all details have been  

captured, simply click Save

The new member record will now  be added to the transaction and  their name will appear on the  screen. 

Complete the sale as normal. The  customer is now partially signed  up to Dough Getters. 

TIP: You can only partially sign up a  Dough Getter as part of a transaction  i.e. the customer must make a  purchase so that you can process the  sale and submit the customer details.

Upon completion of the sale, the customer will receive an SMS prompting them to complete  their sign up either via the app or online. 

Remember customers will only be able to earn spend balance when they are partially signed  up. They will NOT be able to redeem any rewards or offers until they complete their sign up on  the web portal or on the mobile app.



Important Notes: 

• Remind customer to complete sign up – If a customer has not completed their sign up,  anytime you look them up, you will see the highlighted message in place of their name when  you add them to a transaction. Let the customer know that in order to redeem any Dough  Getters offers, including their welcome gift, they need to complete their sign-up either on  the web or via the app. 

• Mobile number MUST be unique – When signing up a customer in-bakery, they must  provide a unique mobile number. If a Dough Getter record already exists with the supplied  mobile number, you will receive an error message after you hit save (step 6). This means the 

member already exists, so simply add them to the transaction by instead selecting the  Dough Getters Lookup button and entering their mobile number. 

• Bakery must be online to sign up - You cannot sign up a member in-bakery if the POS is  offline. If the name doesn’t appear on the transaction screen (as per screenshot in step 7)  this means the sign up has not been captured. 

• Email address – An email address is mandatory to complete sign up on the app and web  portal. If a customer does not have an email address, the in-bakery partial sign-up process  should not be used. Instead, these customes must call Customer Relations on 1800 325 325  to sign up via phone as a ‘no email member’. Note this is reserved for our more senior  customers who don’t have access to emails.
